Kaushik Desai

Mr. Desai has over 25 years of experience and is presently the Managing Partner at WSB (formerly Walton Street India). He has been associated with the Group for more than 13 years. At WSB he is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and managing key relationships with funds, investors and intermediaries. He is also instrumental in reviewing and advising on the transaction structures and new investments opportunities.

Prior to joining Walton Street India, Mr. Desai worked in senior roles with Deutsche Bank AG, CRISIL (S&P India), and Edelweiss Capital in the areas of Capital Markets, Investment Banking and Fund management.

Mr. Desai is a Chartered Accountant, a Company Secretary and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from University of Mumbai.

Vinit Prabhugaonkar

Mr. Prabhugaonkar has over 23 years of real estate experience and is presently the Managing Partner at WSB (formerly Walton Street India). He has been associated with the Group for more than 15 years. At WSB, he is primarily responsible for managing key developer and stakeholder relationships, overseeing acquisitions and portfolio asset management.

Prior to joining Walton Street India in November 2007, Mr. Prabhugaonkar was a Senior Project Manager at ITC’s real estate and hospitality division, responsible for pre-investment evaluation of new projects, value-engineering, and periodic supervision through execution and delivery. Previously, he was a founding member in the Design & Build division at Shapoorji Pallonji, undertaking turnkey execution of projects. Prior to that he was a Structural engineer with Tata Consulting Engineers, working across multiple industrial, commercial and infrastructure projects.

Mr. Prabhugaonkar holds an MBA (International Business) from ICFAI University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from University of Mumbai (both with honours).

Vimal Jangla

Mr. Jangla has over 18 years of real estate experience and is presently the Managing Partner at WSB (formerly Walton Street India). He has been associated with the Group for more than 14 years. At WSB he is primarily responsible for fostering key collaborative relationships with real estate developers and affiliates for the purpose of implementing investment strategies. He also manages sourcing & evaluation of acquisition opportunities and provides oversight of development of projects including integrated townships.

Prior to joining Walton Street India, Mr. Jangla was a Senior Project manager with K. Raheja Corp, a leading real estate company, where he was leading the overall development of several integrated township developments, IT /ITES, SEZ’s & standalone residential developments. Mr. Jangla also had pan-India responsibility with K. Raheja Corp. for LEED design/certification and the company’s carbon credit program. Previously, he was a Project Manager with IL&FS, where he led the execution of 1 million sq ft of projects for clients such as TCS, IBM & Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Jangla holds an MBA (Finance) from ITM Business School and a Masters in Construction Management and bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, both from University of Mumbai (with honours).

Mohinder Pal Bansal

Mohinder Pal Bansal is the Founding Partner and Chairman of Blacksoil Group. He provides management and corporate advisory to clients along with assisting in various formats of capital raising and restructuring.

Mohinder is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience and has advised corporates like Allcargo Global Logistics, Navneet Education, Prince Pipes, EduHold NV, Amforge Industries and Bank of Punjab with M&A, capital markets, fund management, and portfolio integration. He also serves on the board of six notable companies.

Virendra Gala

Virendra Gala is the promoter of Mahavir Agency which is engaged in the real estate advisory business.

He has over 25 years of real estate financing and broking experience with expertise across the real estate value chain from land acquisition to possession of fully developed projects. He specializes in enabling sale and acquisition of large parcels of industrial lands, strategizing marketing, and bulk buying of large real estate projects and has successfully completed transactions of ~7 million sq ft of industrial & land parcels for developers across Western Mumbai.
